619894 2007-12-10 07:37:00 Hi everyone,

I have 2 SATA DVD-RW drives installed in my pc and was wondering if there is any way to burn 2 DVD discs simultaneously with this set up?

Cheers

619895 2007-12-10 07:40:00 I think Nero can.

Thats if you're using a version besides an OEM version.

Thats for data cd's/dvd's. And maybe anything else besides dvds that are protected.

It depends WHAT you're burning.

619896 2007-12-10 08:57:00 Yup Nero can but, as Speedy said, not an OEM version that comes with a drive.
You would have to purchase a retail copy of it.
Then you get an option, if you burn more than one copy, to use multiple drives.

I have set up one in the past for someone who had 4 DVD writers and this worked great.

619897 2007-12-10 09:22:00 Oh ok,

Can I burn a new project while one project is already burning in the other drive?

Cheers

619899 2007-12-10 15:56:00 A bit of a DVD duplication enterprise going on, eh? :p george12 (7)
619900 2007-12-10 21:23:00 lol it's not like that!

I created a Leavers DVD for my high school and I have to make 65+ copies of it. So I have my 3 laptops burning plus the 2 new ones I just bought for my pc.

Thanks for your replies.
