3 months ago in changing to broadband 2 desktops and a laptop were networked. The tech who set up the network made the laptop dial-up ready when unplugged from the network so that it could be taken away on trips. This has worked well. However, tomorrow we're going to a hotel with broadband. Do the settings of the laptop have to be changed in any way to connect to the hotel broadband? |

Either way, cable or wireless, it shouldn't be an issue. |

Thanks Wratterus. Should just connect then, without changing any settings? |

Yep, should be just the same. Possibly you'd get a dial up box appear the first time you try to browse, but cancel it, and try refreshing the page. Should work a treat. |
