| 619606 | 2007-12-09 22:14:00 | If I try to change the desktop background using the display properties & clicking browse in the desktop tab, it doesn't add it to the list of backgrounds, so I can't set it as a background that way. If I right-click on the file & select set as desktop wallpaper it works. |

| 619608 | 2007-12-09 23:03:00 | I have that problem as well. Right-clicking and setting the required image as desktop background does the trick, or else I just use Irfanview to do the same thing. I think it has something to do with Windows preferring desktop background images to be in a certain folder in Documents and Settings. Or somewhere. :rolleyes: |

| 619611 | 2007-12-10 02:11:00 | No worries, so when you're right clicking, I take it you're doing this on websites?? It looks like it goes under profile in FF, and it calls it desktop wallpaper . And if u do it in IE, its called Internet Explorer wallpaper, and gets saved under the Internet Explorer folder . Which is why neither appears when u right mouse / properties on the desktop . |

| 619612 | 2007-12-10 02:20:00 | The thing you need to watch for is that if you right-click and save an image from the internet as your desktop wallpaper, the image will not be permanently saved should you later change it then wish to go back to it or if you lose your desktop wallpaper due to a virus, crash, etc. If you want to keep it you need to save the picture to your hard drive and then choose it as wallpaper. | FoxyMX (5) | ||
