619568 2007-12-09 18:48:00 Is there a way to configure Cobian to NOT create empty folders? I use Cobian for daily scheduled back up to an external hard drive. Or can you recommend a free back up program that does not create zip files? Strommer (42)

Maybe someone knows of a syncronization program that can act as a back up?

619570 2007-12-10 05:54:00 I use to use the popular freeware syncback. It's at snapfiles (www.snapfiles.com)with many others... kahawai chaser (3545)
619571 2007-12-10 06:01:00 Hi Steve,

It seems you can remove the empty folders by following these steps:

.. if you don't want empty folders in your backups, you can select the Engine category on the left-hand-side menu and then from there put a check mark next to Delete empty folders. When done press the OK button to exit the Options screen. - source (www.bleepingcomputer.com)
