| 619559 | 2007-12-09 14:51:00 | Found a really old Hitachi laptop with a CD-Rom and a wired mouse at a yard sale . . . it has Win95 on it and some dumb data about donkeys and horses . . . . . etc . . . . . which I removed . I cost $0 . 00USD/$0 . 00NZD . I think it was cheap enough . Does anyone here think it'll handle 98SE? There's no USB of any kind, but it has all the other regular ports . . etc . I noticed it has a piggy-back connex for the mouse on top of the CD-Rom plug . . they both share the same port . . that's kinda cute! The CD-Rom actually has the same port on the backside of it's own plug for what looks like an attempt to be like the old C>64 daisy chain process . I just wonder if it'll take 98, as I have a copy of that install disc if 95 ever poops out . All it's gonna be used for is playing Spider and Solitaire . Hmm . . maybe "Puppy"? |
