619320 2007-12-09 00:56:00 Depending on how high I have my graphics turned up while playing my game I get this error:

STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER

STOP: 0x100000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER_M

...and my computer goes into safe mode. The error has something to do with an infinite loop. I sometimes can restart my computer but sometimes I have to do a hard reboot as my monitor turns off or the screen goes black. I can't find a solution other than buying a new card....

It isn't heat realated and I have my drivers updated.

619321 2007-12-09 01:07:00 Didnt u post this error in a previous thread?

WHAT drivers did you install, and WHERE did u get them from?

619322 2007-12-09 01:16:00 Did you search Google with the same error message you posted above - the very first result Here (support.microsoft.com) suggests its either a driver issue or faulty card - The Second result Here (support.microsoft.com) also makes some suggestions.

I Know you say the drivers have been updated, but were the old ones actually removed, not just over wriiten with the new ones.

619323 2007-12-09 01:19:00 Yah I did post this in a previous thread, but I didnt get any replies really. So i thought i would rephrase it.

I installed the latest drivers from Nvidia for a Nvidia Geforce 7300Gt card.

I got these drivers from the Nvidia website.

I've ran driver cleaners and everything.

619324 2007-12-09 01:26:00 Does it only come up with the error when playing a certain game, or at other times as well. wainuitech (129)
619325 2007-12-09 01:28:00 Only while playing this one game. I havent tried playing other games nor do i have other games to play.

Just noticed your first post. I have looked at the entire frist page of links yet none of that helps me. The only thing I think I have left is a sudden discovery of an error in the game I play or the driver, or buy a new card.

619326 2007-12-09 01:31:00 Are you're SURE you downloaded the right drivers for your version of windows? Speedy Gonzales (78)
619327 2007-12-09 01:33:00 Definately sure. Did it exactly right camor (10739)
619328 2007-12-09 01:35:00 Hmmmm ok dont know if this will help or not, but go to start/run type in eventvwr look at the application and system logs, some place there will be an error message relating to the lock ups, double click it to open - copy / paste back the full message, all codes relating to the event. wainuitech (129)
619329 2007-12-09 01:41:00 I was unable to find the error that happened on this date...so I looked back further and found what I think is the same error but on a different date. This is what it said under desrciption:

"Hanging application nvcplui.exe, version 1.4.900.14, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000."
