619340 2007-12-09 17:47:00 I did the brush thing eventhough I didn't see any dust. I did notice though that when i was putting the card back in, its easy for it to sway left or right before you tighten down the brace. If it happens to sway right, the port to plug the monitor adapter becomes flush with the case therefore causing the adpater to not be fully plugged in. Maybe this might be my problem....?? Although I never had these blue screens before so I think its doubtful.

I tried doing the third option but the only thing I can find under "system devices" that even resembles what he is talking about is "PCI standard host CPU bridge" and there are like 5 of them...

Im off to try the second option cya guys

619341 2007-12-09 18:25:00 Tried the second option, but when I went to System32 to delete al the "nv*.*" files there was one that kept reappearing after I deleted it. It was called nv4_disp.dll. the second time it appeared one of the numbers in the file version number changed. It went from ...11... to ...10... Once I completed the process I went back to check that same file and it was back to 11. Not sure what that means.

I wont know if either of these solutions worked unless I play my game. The error seems to happen more often if my graphics are turned up so I will turn them up a bit to speed up the process and hope it doesnt kick me off. If it does then I know I havent fixed. If these solutions dont work then I will try DLing the drivers through the CD that came with the card. I hear that has worked

619342 2007-12-09 22:00:00 Currently playing my game with close to max graphics. I notice I had old ATI drivers from the video card that was in my comp about a year ago. I deleted them. Would those conflict with Nvidia Drivers? camor (10739)
619343 2007-12-09 22:04:00 Did u uninstall the ATI drivers BEFORE you deleted its folders??

Not a good idea deleting folders, without uninstalling them first

619344 2007-12-10 19:39:00 I just went to add/remove and removed em along with the ATI control panel.

btw idk which solution did it but I have been running my game at almost the highest graphics I can and have yet crashed. :D Hopefully I didn't jinx it.
