620119 2007-12-11 01:07:00 i do have a file of that size but it still dint give me back my 60GB... the file im not gona delete because i dont know what it might do is "pagefile.sys" i still cant seme to recover the missing space... HiperBoy (13132)

Advanced tab / settings / advanced.

Click on change. Change it to no paging file.

Then set, then reboot.

Then go back to the above and click on system managed size / set then reboot.

You cant delete the file itself. But the above will kill it and recreate it.

Some people do turn paging off, but some programs and games wont run if its disabled.

If the comp is low on ram, this will make the pagefile work continualy swapping back and forth and make it quite large too
