| 619561 | 2007-12-09 18:40:00 | With WinXP, is it possible to get the size of each folder displayed in Windows Explorer or another tool? The size of files can be displayed but I cannot get folder sizes. One thing I am trying to do is to delete all folders that are empty. This occurs when I use Cobian as a daily backup program. I do have Ace Utilities that shows the size of each folder but the folders cannot be deleted. |

| 619562 | 2007-12-09 18:45:00 | If you hover the mouse over a folder for a few secs, it'll give you the size, and it'll say its empty, if it is empty. It'll even tell you the names of the files in it (well some of them if theres a lot of files in the folder). |

| 619565 | 2007-12-09 20:35:00 | I've used the free version of xplorer2 for years (XP and Vista) and swear by it. It will display folder sizes (and much more!) and has two side-by-side panels. Hunt through the preferences - there are a lot of settings! Windows explorer is a cripple by comparison. |

| 619566 | 2007-12-09 20:54:00 | I think this (http://foldersize.sourceforge.net/)is what you are after. Once run, it adds a column to Windows Explorer. Very simple add on. You just right click on the column headers to choose the ones you want. |
