619268 2007-12-09 00:05:00 Uhm.... here are the answers to various interpretation of your question:

1) You can buy XP Pro from DSE, surely?
2) You need to get Bootcamp to run XP from a Mac

Cheers :)

619269 2007-12-09 00:33:00 Or you can buy Parallels, with XP Pro included, online at the Apple store.
VMWare as well maybe??

619271 2007-12-10 22:08:00 Had a look but how can I tell if it's not been used?

DSE doesn't sell it.

Any other ideas?

619272 2007-12-10 22:16:00 The shop down the road, sells the OEM version of Pro for $236.81, (with conditions), but not much use if youre not in Mt Eden, and dont have a credit card or something to pay for it online.

BUT, you probably have to buy some hardware to get it.

619273 2007-12-10 22:21:00 Doesn't the piece of hardware need to be the bit that runs xp?

$236 for a 5 year old piece of software that is still not legal (OEM) is really really rubbish.

619274 2007-12-10 22:35:00 No it can be anything hardware, just as long as its hardware.

OEM does the same as the retail, the only diff is it usually gets installed on systems u buy.
