| 620185 | 2007-12-11 01:16:00 | I'm looking for an external USB to IDE enclosure for a 3.5" drive. I want one with an internal power supply, so I don't have to lug a power adapter or brick around with me as well as the drive. I found one here: www.coolgear.com But, I was hoping to source one locally. I have looked, but have not found one yet. Has anyone seen these around? |

| 620186 | 2007-12-11 01:39:00 | That still has a power cord. All 3.5" ones do. You could try a 2.5" but they don't always manage to get enough power just from the USB ports. |

A lot of different brands and models to choose from. Some have built in transformer some don't. This little toy looked quite cool www.trademe.co.nz |
