that code mean ?

and have you tried resetting the bios to defaults ?

Geeee - go out on a job come back and given up already within a couple of hours -:groan:

Oh well - the limited suggestions cant be turned into more helpful ones if only part of the information is supplied I guess .

Good luck on getting it repaired .

620371 2007-12-11 23:14:00 5 . Make sure that your current installation of Windows XP is selected in the box, and then press R to repair Windows XP .

No "R" is available;

That happens when either not enough of Windows is intact for it to be repaired or it doesn't see an O/S at all .
