621480 2007-12-15 20:36:00 Would you like the spell checker of firefox in all textfields not just the textareas
(that is this space now I am using to give you this message)

open up firefox and type about:config into the URL entry space

change
layout.spellcheckDefault = 1
from to
layout.spellcheckDefault = 2

there are more tips at hwiki.digitalsouth.net.nz

Now if only MicroSoft would set all Emails from "HTML" to "plain text" by default so I dont get pathetic black text on white background HTML emails when plain text emails would do just as good, hogging up my hard drive space and using up Internet bandwidth as you multiple (3 times bigger email) times millions of Email senders all over the world, then I would be very happy!

621483 2007-12-17 19:34:00 So many Firefox users . . . . so many spelling errors still . . . :rolleyes:

Somehow I got it operating here . . the Spel-checker, that is . . but it doesn't correct bad usage in the text .

That's something to look forward to . . . see . . another dangling preposition that it didn't catch!

The preceding was just a test . . . as I know a sentence is something to not end a sentence with .

It also goes nuts on NZ-speak . . . all those red underlines on things youse guys slaughter .
