| 620948 | 2007-12-13 09:24:00 | Just purchased 1gig ddr400 to go with my 2x512MB ddr400. Installed it by touching only the sides but now i get an error beep when i turn on and nothing will boot. i have tryed different slots and same deal - boots fine when i remove the new ram. It is a Kingxcon 1GB 2.6v. Is it faulty, or is it not really ddr400? my receipt says it is but i cannot find ddr400 on the stick anywhere. |

| 620949 | 2007-12-13 09:27:00 | just read my motherboard manual - does not support 3 memory modules. but it still won't boot with only 2. would that be because one is 512 and one is 1GB? Can i buy another 1gig stick and use 2x1GB and 2x512? Or have i just thrown my money away? my motherboard is a nForce4 GA-K8NF-9. wish I'd read this first |
