Hope this helps :)

I use Picasa and e-mail photos..and I have sent 40 or 50 at a time and although Picasa tells me that I am sending that large number, it has never refused.

I also have the settings at "normal size"..and it works well for me.

620995 2007-12-15 19:04:00 compressing photo's doesn't reduce the filesize, In most cases zipping or raring 80MB of photo's will create a file a few MB larger. Metla (12)

I didn't say anything as I thought it was me,but mine went from 78 to 80 after compressing.

Will look at that Joe,thanks.

620997 2007-12-15 21:16:00 I'm a couple of days late now but like Greg, would have recommended a file-transfer website. There's quite a few around (mashable.com) but a nice and easy one I could recommend for this instance is senduit (http://www.senduit.com/).

BTW, RapidShare (http://rapidshare.com/), although reliable and "reputable" isn't the best for shifting photos, it's more geared for the shady business.
