| 621060 | 2007-12-14 06:28:00 | www.circuitcity.com i bought this pc 4-5 days ago.it's good but it has vista and i don't like very much that OS.so my question is how can i change from vista to windows XP because in the official site of HP i didnt find any drivers for XP and if i format the hdd and install XP i won't have any drivers,and the pc might not run? |

| 621062 | 2007-12-14 07:12:00 | yeah that sucks :angry with vista my cpu is always at least 40-50 % and is taking from the ram.stupid windows :badpc: for example on my old pc which is 1.5 ghz,512 ram,128 video fifa 08 runs without problems,on this which is 4-5 times better it gets laggy on moments and its all because the junky vista is running so many processes and has so much stupid programs installed. |

| 621063 | 2007-12-14 07:51:00 | Look for vista apps that you can uninstall if you want it to run better. You can turn off most of the visuals, and the bar on the right can be disabled easily. Or look at the programs you've installed yourself and see which ones you could do without. And make sure you use CCleaner at least once a week. I find that my dad's comp runs without any issues at all that way. Fast as liquid lightning. | Thebananamonkey (7741) | ||

Anyway, once SP1 is released it'll help sort things out. But Vista is way nicer than XP and it's the OS now. Try to find your way around it, rather than install an OS from the past tat has no driver support from HP |
