621023 2007-12-14 02:00:00 Hi all,

I'm currently running Vista Ultimate x64 on my PC (per my sig). I am keen to have the ability to still run XP, and also Vista Ulitmate x86. So, is this possible to have a triple boot option? And if so, has any body any ideas which way to go about it - i.e. XP, the 32bit Vista, then 64bit Vista, or other?

621024 2007-12-14 02:11:00 I think its meant to go from XP the earliest to the latest.

Yup, I would say thats right, the way u said it.

621025 2007-12-14 02:21:00 Why do you want to run both the 64bit and 32bit version of Vista? The only reason to run the 32bit version is if you need to use software/drivers that aren't compatiable with the 64bit version. Pete O'Neil (6584)
621026 2007-12-14 02:35:00 I'm trying to see if doing thing across the various versions is any different from a functional perspective. I've tried on virtual environments, but the final tests around graphics and gaming are bombing out because VMWare just doesn't do a good job on the graphics front. arseynimz (6919)
621027 2007-12-14 02:45:00 You may notice a difference between 32bit and 64bit version of the OS's as the 32bit version aren't able to address all 8gb of your memory. The maximum 32bit version of Windows can address is 3.2gb. Pete O'Neil (6584)
