| 621892 | 2007-12-16 22:57:00 | I've just got a new computer set up, but I've realised that I don't have any amps for any sound. Any recommendations, brand-wise? I heard Creative was pretty good. Probably want to spend at most $150 on them. Cheers |

Look at Creative X-fi Sound Cards if you want a dedicated sound card.-(Gives better sound then most onboard motherboard sound can do). 2. You can hook up a stereo to your pc for way better sound and features then what tiny pc speakers can do.:D 3. If you decide to use pc speakers then look for what they can do,such as Dolby Digital,Dolby Digital II,EX,ETS,5.1 Sourround Sound,7.1 Sourround Sound,THX Certified etc....The more features the better quality the speakers will be. 4. Creative,Logitech,Altec Lansing.-Make good pc speakers. 5. These speakers are good: Logitech Z-5500, 5.1 Speaker system Black/Silver. OR these.-(Cheaper,but still has some good features as well). Creative Inspire 7.1 T7900 Speakers, Black Or use a stereo and hook it up to the pc. |

| 621898 | 2007-12-17 10:07:00 | Wow thanks everyone! Although they are just speakers, I was getting overly concerned about them. Its just going to be onboard motherboard sound. But other than that, its good to know what to look out for and what brands to narrow down too. But thanks memphis, I don't have a stereo to fit in the room, so pc speakers it is! |
