| 622432 | 2007-12-18 16:01:00 | Hi all. I have a lenovo thinkpad 600x. I bought it used. Have replaced and upgraded hard drive. It was having trouble holding a charge, so I got a new battery for it. Now, the power adapter is not sending a charge through. It beeps everytime it switches power and I have to wiggle the cord to get the AC power back. Usually when it's running on AC, a little green lite is on where it's connected. When it's running on Battery, the light is orange. Here's the problem - no amount of wiggling will get the AC back on again, yet, I have a green light showing where there should be an orange one. Will I get lucky enough for it to just be the adapter? Anybody know of a fix or what else to try? Thanx.:badpc: |
