623257 2007-12-20 19:18:00 Hey, i just got a new computer and i have found that when i have my Microsoft USB mouse plugged in, when i turn it on, it wont get past the splashscreen for the motherboard, but if i unplug it and reboot it then it starts up fine.
After everything if started up i plug it back in and it works fine....

Is there anything i can do? This mouse use to go fine on the other computer...

The mouse is a microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical USB and the motherboard it a WINFAST 6100M2MA Dual core...

Any help would be appreciated :help:

623261 2007-12-20 23:18:00 Are you able to plug the mouse into the PS2 Connection with an adaptor.

And have you tried the mouse in another PC using the USB (latley - I see in original post it used to work).
If so what happens - This way it will determin if its the mouse or the mobo thats causing the problem.
