| 622890 | 2007-12-19 09:01:00 | Hi there. My HTPC needs a quieter power supply. I was thinking a 485W Enermax noisetaker ($128+gst) or Zalman Noiseless 400w ($175) I only need 400W, dont really want to spend big bucks (ie under $200) Ive allways liked the Enermax PSU's (Ive had a few of them in different PC's over the years) However, I'm guessing that the Zalman may be quieter. Any other suggestions I should consider?? |

| 622893 | 2007-12-19 22:02:00 | Ive got a Enermex 500w Liberty in my main PC and its damm near silent. I needed to test an old passive P3 the other day so set it up next to my main PC so i could simple plug the ATX header into the PC without removing the PSU from the case. Because the P3 was passive the only fan was in the PSU, more than a couple feet away from the PC and i could hear the fan. | Pete O'Neil (6584) | ||
