622853 2007-12-19 08:03:00 In the latest Issue of PC World you had the popular game Command and Conquer. This was a nightmare to install the game as I don't know a thing about mounting ISO images let alone burning them on disk. I attempted to burn the two ISO files but all I have is just the ISO Image icons on the two disks which won't run the game. By chance found the program that mounted the image on a virtual CD drive, and I managed to install the game....Now I can't run the game as it asks me for the game CD to be installed. I have installed the Gold patch and changed settings to Win95, but that is as far as I have managed to go. Please help fill in the gaps as I can't figure out how to burn the correct image to CD. I can't wait to play this classic again.:help:

Cheers & Merry Xmas:) !

622854 2007-12-19 08:20:00 Go to terabyteunlimited.com and scroll down until you hit "BurnCDCC(tm)". Download this, unzip it and run BurnCDCC.exe. Select the ISO files using the program and then click Start. The ISO files will be written to the CD exactly as they are on teh CD.

BTW a ISO file is a CD-ROM image - a virtual CD in a way.

622855 2007-12-19 08:40:00 Get the Image burner from my sig ( image Burn) - its easy to use and very good. Simply install the program, open it, you will need to copy the Image File from the Original CD (unless you have two optical drives) to a folder someplace - point the program to the ISO file - have a blank CD in the drive, click the burn button down the bottom and waych it do its thing - Done.

Picture Here of Process (www.imagef1.net.nz) Top Arrow points to "locate ISO you want to burn, bottom arrow points to burn button. - couldn't be easier.:D

622856 2007-12-19 08:52:00 Another one I've used is ISO Recorder (isorecorder.alexfeinman.com) which gives you a right-click option on ISOs to burn to disc. I've found it really easy to use (and useful! :)) davehartley (3487)
622857 2007-12-19 16:24:00 As an absolute ISO image burning idiot here, I found ImgBurn to be so simple that it amazes me .

It seems to just know that it is needed and pops up on the screen when I need to not make silver coasters . My wife has several matching sets already .
