But lets see if we can help you to remove any other software problems that may be slowing things down. To do the Hijack Log follow these steps. Right click on the desktop, create a new folder, call it Hijack. Download the Hijack this from Speedys Sig, or click on This Link (www.merijn.org) and it will start to download - save it to that folder on the desktop. Run Hijack this, and select scan, when finished click Save Log, save it to the same folder. Open the Folder locate the log- double click it to open. Single click on a blank part of the log, press the keys Ctrl + A both at the same time, this will select all text, then click on Edit / Copy minimise the log file, come back here, click on post Reply, click in the place you type, press the keys Ctrl + V, Or right click /Paste - this will paste the whole log into your reply - hit summit - and wait for a further instructions. |

| 622847 | 2007-12-20 21:55:00 | There is a trojan that uses that rainlendar2 name. BUT there is also a desktop calendar program, with the same name. Which I think that startup entry belongs to. The trojan entry may start in %WINDIR%\TEMP\ not in program files. |

The trojan entry may start in %WINDIR%\TEMP\ not in program files. Thanks for that Speedy I need my calendar (recommended by an online friend)memory not what it was. BUT! I tried to remove it at one stage & was left with something that refused to leave???? In the mean time THANK YOU Guys!!  I am now back to almost normal & no bits hanging on the screen over other things when I try to exit them. |

| 622849 | 2007-12-21 17:39:00 | awhhhhhhhh I like mud :D That's nice! Coz you in it again. The error messages are...and more of them! CCleaner did nothing. One example is: "SDTrayApp.exe - Application Error" The instruction at "0x51f265c2" referenced memory at "0x01oed328". The memory could not be "read". and Runtime error at 216 at 51F265c2. And similar others..... Any ideas fella? Will uninstalling SD get rid of these? Cheers mate. |

| 622850 | 2007-12-21 17:47:00 | It maybe corrupt, if its crashing on startup. Uninstalling it should fix that error. Since it wont be running on startup. What did u do in ccleaner to fix it?? Delete its startup entry?? The prob could be Comodo, if this is installed. I dont think these 2 programs play nicely together. |
