623364 2007-12-21 09:22:00 Well it's all set up and working. So far can't fault it.

Thanks very much everyone.:D

Good one JJJJJ (Jack).
It is not every time the members here get a reply with thanks.

So which post was most helpful in tracking the problem?
I am fairly sure it was not mine.

Probably "Trev" I think.

I do not know the answer all the time.

I ask questions so that the PressF1 family may define the terms used and solve the problem.

PSI did not mean anything to me. I interpret what I see so I was not sure what you meant in the original post.

PS/2 does.

I apologise for not taking the time.

623366 2007-12-21 18:07:00 Thanks Ciceroo.

I try to be helpful all year rather than just make an effort at Christmas time.
This does not always work for some people.

Added an "o" to your user name as you have done to mine.

JJJJJ refused my offer of help (for free) some time back.

Now Jack may have his reasons and I do respect that.

What a terrible thing to do,adding an o to my name, at Christmas too.

Sorry about that. BUT I don't know what you are talking about. I have no recolection of ever refusing help from anyone. Especialy "free help"

623369 2007-12-22 04:45:00 Jack,

I presume you are running FS X. I haven't upgraded to that yet but I will. How do you find it?

Actually I flew back from Timaru on a Jetstream 3200 turbo prop (its about a 18 seater) a few weeks ago. I got the plum seat for watching the pilots. Really interesting especially when they set the autopilot to maintain 17,000 feet and there was a bit of vertical drift.

Descended into Wellington and broke out of cloud at about 400 feet, very slightly left of the runway. Slight correction and we land. Most enjoyable

FSX is a much better program than fs9. But like everything from MS it has it's faults.
To get the best from it, it is essential to have a top line PC.Something like a 6800 with 2 gigs of ram is minimum.
