623057 2007-12-20 07:00:00 Ah, it is obvious, isn't it?

OS: Vista Ultimate X64

Joking aside, was there any patch released that your mate may have missed?

Cheers :)

623058 2007-12-20 08:39:00 I found this in the documentation folder of my copy. It might help - might not:

For Windows VistaTM*:

1. Click on the Start button > Control Panel.
2. Select Personalization > Display Settings.
3. Choose Advanced Settings > Select the Troubleshoot Tab.
4. Make sure the acceleration slider is set to full.

unfortunately i cant change it

i downloaded the latest nvidia beta drivers and they worked a little

the stuttering wasnt nearly as bad, but still stutters quite badly at times which happens to be when you least want it to

thanks for the suggestion though :)

623060 2007-12-20 09:32:00 My guess would be that it is Vista64 causing the problem. There are some games that my friend has similar problems with that we simply can't find a fix for (yet). They work fine on Vista32.

Also, has your friend got the latest chipset drivers installed?

Also, did you see this?: www.rage3d.com
