623909 2007-12-23 21:31:00 Yesterday my spybot programme said something wanted to change a registry entry in startup. So I denied it.
This morning the computer starts fine, everything is running except netscape 7.1
double click, nothing. Go to prgramme file and double click the original .exe file,,,,nothing.
This happened once before. My solution was to reload netscape but I lost all my favorite bookmarks.

Is there some way I can fix without re;loading or alternatively how can I save the bookmarks
Note: this programme will abolutely not tun.

Many thanks in advance

623913 2007-12-24 02:20:00 Search for bookmarks. See if something comes up in the Netscape folder, then copy it somewhere else, then uninstall Netscape.

There maybe an option in S&D or teatimer, to bring back whatever it denied

623914 2007-12-25 19:16:00 right click on the teatimer icon in the system tray select settings. you should now be able to select and and modify any mistaken settings in there beama (111)
623915 2007-12-25 20:58:00 Suggest you uninstall Netscape and download and install the Mozilla suite 1.7.12, which is excellent, or the latest which is called Seamonkey.

As mentioned above, do a search, including Hidden files, for bookmarks. Copy it and/or rename it to something like bookmarksold.html. You'll then be able to import it to your new browser.
