| 624113 | 2007-12-23 09:30:00 | Just looking at purchacing a new LCD for christmas tomorrow, would like anything from 32"-40", under $1500 . Does anyone have any suggestions? any cheap deals anywhere? I'm only looking for something to go with my PS3, 720p set would be fine, don't need 1080p or anything; also, just for a decent brand like Sony Bravia series, Samsung, Panasonic, Sharp or Toshiba . Ask to see a PS3 or similar running, if they want a sale they will do some sort of "show and tell". I went into DSE to see a certain model I was interested in, and asked the sales guy to see a PC running on it instead of the normal DVD's they have playing - right away I saw the difference in the picture for the one I ended up getting which was an Viewsonic 32" WS. Samsung do have a good name as well. |
