1421838 2016-06-15 03:12:00 Without an Internet provider I can use Gmail? Go into coffee shops and use there Internet? Go to a friends house and have them give me their password for their internet? lostsoul62 (16011)
1421839 2016-06-15 03:16:00 Yes you can have accounts such as gmail without actually paying for a broadband connection.
Yes you could use public internet.

You sure don't need anyone's password to check you mail though, I certainly wouldn't give it to you, I would, however allow you to check using my PC.

Your welcome may become a bit strained if you do it all the time though.

However, I would avoid anything that is remotely financial related, like buying online or banking and anything that personally identifies you.

You don't want to be a victim that has all their earnings taken or a huge debt created through someone borrowing money as you.

1421841 2016-06-15 09:58:00 You could just use your cellular quota, being perhaps 0.5 Gb on a basic plan?
But a basic broadband internet connection isn't a huge cost esp when bundled

1421842 2016-06-15 15:02:00 I'm moving from one place to another and that might take a week so I just wanted to disconnect my Internet before I left my place. When I leave I have to take my router-modem with me which won't leave me with any Internet. lostsoul62 (16011)
1421843 2016-06-16 06:05:00 If all you want to do is get your email then as pointed out it is not a problem as also stated it would be most unwise to do internet banking or any other stuff that is of a financial nature on a public Network. CliveM (6007)
1421844 2016-06-17 09:03:00 I would only check the email at a good friend's place.

I would assume any internet cafe would be full of keyloggers, intentional or otherwise.

1421845 2016-07-03 01:27:00 So long as your happy that your access to the internet at any given time is out of your control then you don't really need it then. Also if you're happy to leave your home every time you need the internet. For most people in this day and age that is simply unpractical lol myCompare (17471)
