2016-03-22 06:23:00 | As I said earlier if the security team had done their job none of this would have happened. For once I don't think Key did anything wrong at the time apart from trying to do a deal with banksy | gary67 (56) | |
2016-03-22 06:56:00 | But now the pragmatic back-down.............. "Prime Minister John Key will not pay his "teapot tapes" settlement with public money, his office confirmed this afternoon. The settlement costs, which have not be disclosed, would be met by the National Party or by private contributions." www.nzherald.co.nz But as usual with Key there is always a twist. HERE (www.nzherald.co.nz) The legal costs which Mr Key had incurred so far in the case had already come out of his leader's budget. His office said Mr Key was given approval by the Speaker in 2013 to use the fund for this purpose. It was not known how much he spent on his legal defence. So it still cost us Taxpayers something, and why is it not known how much?

2016-03-22 21:42:00 | You commie clowns are sure going to take it hard when the National party gets in for a fourth term. Even With labour now wanting to give everyone free money, $200ish a week (working or not), they still wont get back into power . Labors election bribes (yep, bribes) amount to far more than JK's recent rort .

2016-03-22 22:48:00 | Labors election bribes (yep, bribes) amount to far more than JK's recent rort . 1. We have no Labor Party in New Zealand. 2. The tax cuts for the rich that you all enjoy were nothing but a bribe. 3. That bribe has so far cost this country 116 billion dollars. www.nationaldebtclocks.org So who cost us more? Not Labour, as they had paid the gumment debt down to 6 billion in their last term in office. Our fabulous finance minister, DOUBLE DIPTON is a mighty con-artist though.

2016-03-23 00:06:00 | The best option I can see, out of an awful selection, is that National get back in with Winston as Kingmaker. At least he would curb the Separatism that Key promotes, curb the sale of the Silverware, and defend us from becoming Tenants in our own Country. As for the rest of the partys, I cant find one redeeming factor for any of them. They are all a total waste of time and money.

2016-03-23 01:50:00 | You commie clowns are sure going to take it hard when the National party gets in for a fourth term. You use that word a lot. Real communism advocates sharing among all rather than wealth for some and none of others. Not a bad theory really, although human nature will never see it happen really. The likes of Russia, North Korea etc sure aren't communists, they're just dictators. Not sure either fits Labour supporters. And last election I voted for no-one at all as I didn't like all of the polices anyone had. Found it hard to like the majority even that time round.
