| 1421768 | 2016-06-12 05:36:00 | Hi all, I have a friend who is looking at this ... ASUS F751LDV. He is just a general user, i7 and pretty fast I guess, 8GB, comes with a standard HDD, I would change that to a SSD. How is this and any other recommendations? He needs a 17" cos due to his eyesight, a illness cannot be cured. Thanks. |

| 1421771 | 2016-06-13 21:24:00 | Toshiba Satellite Pro, P70 Pro, Core i7- 4700MQ, 2.4 GHz (Quad core I think), 2 x 1TB HDDs (can replace either with an SSD) DVD obviously, Win 8.0 64 bit, since upgraded seamlessely to 8.1, Discrete graphics, Model 8D026765C. Paid $2141.54 incl GST, delivery and free extra extended warranty. After using my 15.6 lappie for a few years this screen is lovely, and been using a lappie for so long now I don't miss a desktop monitor whatsoever. I bet you'd get an even better deal now for a similar or better model. The extra hard drive or SSD is a real bonus. |
