| 624788 | 2007-12-26 19:47:00 | I have recently (and i think it has been for a while) noticed a small white dot on my laptop screen, i did try to like gently scratch it off with my nail thinking its dirty, but it wasnt. Its slightly off centre and really noticeable with a dark wallpaper/or movie, what is it? | aidanmaz (7180) | ||
| 624789 | 2007-12-26 19:59:00 | A dead pixel probably. There is free software somewhere that can check dead pixels. It runs through a series of tests changing the screen to different colours so that dead pixels are easier to see. |
