| 624716 | 2007-12-26 09:53:00 | How do you get back the "pop-up" box which normally appears on the desktop when media is detected via a usb or cd'dvd drive. This pop-up box gives you a list of options of what action you wish to take with the inserted media. I am running XP Any help appreciated. |

| 624719 | 2007-12-28 02:41:00 | Try installing the Windows XP Autoplay fix (support.microsoft.com). I think you have to ask them for it. Do you have service pack two? |

| 624720 | 2007-12-28 02:41:00 | Did you check the Auto play options like Drcspy suggested. Down the bottom of the options under auto play for any of the drives is the option to "prompt each time. Make sure its selected, as shown Here - Example (www.imagef1.net.nz) If its not selected you can also click " Restore Defaults" if its available. Edited: From Wratterus's suggestion (I have it bookmarked) Windows Autorun Fix (www.softwarepatch.com) |
