2007-12-25 07:18:00 | Does the school KNOW youre doing this? Doesnt sound like it BUT then, if youre not going to get another U3, I doubt the school will let you install software on their computers. Pretty stupid if they do.

You could get a 1GB USB drive from QMB for $10. Not a U3 but still a drive, and it's damn cheap.. I fact I think I saw the same ones at the post office for about the same price |

2007-12-25 11:07:00 | Because U3 lets you boot apps directly from it and cleans up subsequent files when ejected. I suppose he probably wants to look up porn or something using firefox because the IE IP locks wouldn't apply? I can't think of what else he'd possibly want to do, but it doesn't sound particularly honest to me. So the programs would take the place of U3s OS usurpation. But I'm really just guessing, because I only just looked them up now. Just my 2c really... Anyway, merry boxing day everyone :) | Thebananamonkey (7741) | |

2007-12-25 20:02:00 | Yer, why. If this is for school, it sounds dodgy, whatever youre doing. It doesnt sound like youre ALLOWED to do it. And it doesnt sound like the school will let you do it.

2007-12-26 00:21:00 | So you want the U3 software on a non-U3 drive? You could try http://portableapps.com/ as an alernative, or do something like this: forums.hak5.org I post this only as informative, for using the software somewhere else so you don't have to waste money buying a special drive I do not support bypassing your school's security systems, if you get caught that's your own fault.
