624896 2007-12-27 20:44:00 The OS may be in a recovery Partition.

But if you found a trojan in the Keyboard software, its prob fixable.

What is the make & model of the ketboard /mouse. If its not obvious on the front, there is usually a sticker on the rear/underside of the keyboard with all details.

624897 2007-12-27 20:46:00 ummmmm HP 5219urf it says password (5384)
624898 2007-12-27 21:00:00 The drivers are usually on the HD in a hidden folder .
open "My Computer" > tools> folder Options> View Tab> click " show Hiden Files and Folders - Click OK .

Double click the C Drive, look for a folder called HP, the actual folder you want ( from Memory) is either Bin , or it may also be drivers .

I did manage to locate it from a third Party Web Site, but you need to sign up ( free) to get it, Here ( . driverguide . com/driver/detail . php?driverid=364578" target="_blank">members . driverguide . com)trying to locate it on HP's site is mission impossible

Here is the Drivers for that model HP's Site (h10025.www1.hp.com).

Looking at the keyboard driver it doesn't say if its wireless or not? Is the wireless Keyboard / mouse the original from when it was purchased, or is it an addin later on ?

Updated: just noticed its only XP, I'll keep looking for the Media Center One
