| 626003 | 2007-12-31 01:36:00 | Nothing to do with computers of the same name. Have this 'Gateway' thing sitting in the Temp I/N folder all the time. Have tried to delete it many times and ways but it comes straight back at me. Seems to be replicating as time passes. It also has an IP address included in the file. Have tried Adaware, Spybot, Reg' Cleaner, AVG and several other cleaning programs, but it seems to be getting worse and is slowing the 'puter down heaps. Any help will be much appreciated. |

| 626005 | 2007-12-31 01:45:00 | Turn off system Restore, right click on My Computer>Properties> Restore tab. Down load Spyware doctor ( free) from my sig, install and run.Get Ccleaner, install/run Go to Speedys Sig (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz)download Trojan remover, Install/run. While in Speedys sig get Hijack this. Save it to a folder on your desktop, run it > Save the log and post back the log here. Wait for instructions as what else to do. |
