| 625618 | 2007-12-29 04:31:00 | whenver i try to update my .NET framework, it always fails. There are no error pop ups, just when i run the automatic updates it always says "The following updates were not installed: Security update for microsoft .NET framework ,version 2.0(KB928365) I have tried manualy downloading/installing it but then i get the "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" error. Now, i know i'm supposed to use a CD that came with my computer(laptop), and extract netfx.msi(the file i need to install it (or i could be wrong =S), but the thing is, mine came pre-installed. what do i do?? |

| 625623 | 2007-12-29 05:02:00 | The x86 version is for 32 bit pc's, the x64 is for the 64 bit version of Windows. Have you got the 32 or 64 bit version of Windows installed? |

| 625624 | 2007-12-29 05:09:00 | umm idk probly 32 bit. still wont let me install the service pack (from the link you provided) still trying to figure out how to extract netfx.msi from the "service pack" i need instructions on whitch service pack and how to do it =\ im pretty much new to computers, since i dont do any maintenance at all i come here for help and see if i can do what you guys do, and you speedy seem to be the most helpful =P |
