626545 2008-01-01 22:58:00 Hi
How do I get rid of this, please?

The add-in "C:\Program Files\Network Associates\VirusScan\scanemal.dll" could not be installed or loaded. This problem may be resolved by using Detect and Repair on the Help menu.

I've tried detect and repair a number of times, but no change.

Thanks.
Cheers

626546 2008-01-01 23:14:00 Disable it under tools / options / other. It looks like a plugin.

Or disable in the Mcafee virusscan program somewhere.

That file isnt part of Outlook

FIX:
1. In Outlook, click Options on the Tools menu.
2. Click the Other tab, click Advanced Options, and then click Add-In Manager.
3. Click to clear the Exchange Scan check box, click OK, and then click OK.
4. Click OK.

Bearing in mind that it is part of the email scanner in McAfee, this could mean your emails might not be scanned for infections. In other words - McAfee is not working fully.
