Stop moaning, you guys. You don't know what you're missing. Try NOD-32 antivirus. My work insists on running it (out of my control) once a week, initially on Monday at 1 pm. Goodbye Monday. 14 hours and it was still going, and there I was wondering why my new machine was being even more of a dog than usual--until I looked at the task list and found it was taking 60-70% of my resources--and apparently invoking Spybot as it went. I managed to get them to change it to Sunday 9 am, and then I discovered that rebooting the machine did not reset the scheduler :) |

Spybot-S&D 1.5.2 RC1 (www.spybotupdates.com) was released a couple of days ago - apparently it runs a lot quicker. |

Well they need to reinstall it or reconfigure it. Nod32 is one of the least intensive memory resource hogging scanners available. |
