| 626855 | 2008-01-02 23:34:00 | i finally got a new pc thanks to my sister(she paid:cool: ) but i need help with two things. 1. i keep getting a ? mark for my pci slot in the device manager(this is after i installed drivers), yes i have a video card there but still dont know why i get this. 2. i have a sata hdd connected but it doesnt show up when windows is loaded wich im running off an ide hdd. the sata hdd shows up in the mobo bios but not in windows not even in administrative tools. |

| 626856 | 2008-01-02 23:57:00 | That should have been sorted by the shop before you even got it. The sata drive may not be formatted. Go into Disk Management and see. As for the graphics card, is there anything additional? TV Tuner installed? Is it an ATI or Nvidia card? Did you download the driver for it from their website? |

| 626857 | 2008-01-02 23:58:00 | If the SATA HDD is new then you need to give it a drive letter. You can find this under Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Disk Management. Right click the drive without a letter and there should be an option to format or make a partition to give it a letter. The ? could mean you have not installed drivers yet. |
