627986 2008-01-07 02:22:00 Xnet's nDSL package Xnet Fusion (www.xnet.co.nz) was released today... stephen (9719)
627987 2008-01-07 03:11:00 Hmm... The shape of things to come? Would I be brave enough to change to it?

Having to have some electronics running all the time puts me off. Need a UPS too, I think, for "peace of mind".

What if World Exchange collapses next week? Back to Telecom with cap in hand.

627989 2008-01-07 07:38:00 What Would be the quality of the service compared to landline? spaceman8815 (4112)
627990 2008-01-07 08:00:00 Its not that bad honestly except when someone calls you, you just have to wait for 1 second before starting to talk. Even in bad weather its not that bad (unless the cell site crashes :lol) atleast thats on Woosh, hope Xnet is better. beeswax34 (63)
627991 2008-01-07 08:44:00 Xnet is brilliant - im my experience comparable to a landline. I do however have some fairly sophisticated traffic shaping running on my LAN which among other things protects the VOIP from being affected by other net traffic, so I'm not sure how it would cope in a 'typical' setup.
