| 627551 | 2008-01-05 06:34:00 | hi my boyfriend has kindly let me use his account to ask this question. i was just wondering if any one would be able to help me with my ipod. I have just updated my itunes to the latest version 7.5.0.20 and have a 5th gen video ipod which i have also updated. However whenever i plug my ipod in, itunes completely freezes and i'm unable to do anything!!!! Does anyone have this problem or know how to solve it!!!! I've also tried installing an older version of itunes but i can't access my library and therefore the older versions won't open!!! Please help!!! | LOWTEC (7821) | ||
| 627552 | 2008-01-05 06:42:00 | Hmm uninstall all versions of Itunes again. And reinstall the latest version. Was it syncing with Outlook contacts and calendars, before you updated it?? Whats installed ?? XP or 2000?? Have u used that Ipod on this computer before? I read a few weeks ago, when the latest version of Itunes came out 2000 users found that Itunes had wiped their songs as well. They had to reinstall an earlier version of Itunes. If you plug the Ipod in (dont run Itunes), does it freeze / does it appear in My computer?? And does it open in My computer? This will tell us, whether Itunes or the Ipod is the prob. |
