628311 2008-01-08 01:15:00 To get them?? Or so you can put them on a site?

If you want to get them, IE, Opera, and FF can get them.

All you have to do, is find sites that support RSS.

628315 2008-01-10 05:29:00 My favourite RSS client, Vienna (www.opencommunity.co.uk), is a Mac app and I've looked high and low for a similar app for the Windows platform but apps like RSS Owl, RSS Bandit etc. didn't have as clean an interface as I was looking for. GreatNews was OK but I didn't get into it if that makes any sense. I ended up settling on a Firefox RSS addon (addons.mozilla.org) called Brief (addons.mozilla.org) which works quite well IMO, running on top of the Firefox "Live Bookmarks" feature. I've tried a few (Sage being the original) and this one works best for me. It was great too because I exported my Vienna feeds (100+) and imported the OPML into Brief sweet as.

That said, the company that sell what are generally considered the best RSS clients around have made them free. NewsGator (www.newsgator.com/) have made both FeedDemon (http:) (for Windows) and NetNewsWire (www.newsgator.com) (for Mac OS X) free applications which is great because they're usually touted as the two best RSS clients for their respective platforms.

One that does look interesting though is AlertBear (www.alertbear.com), which looks like it might come in handy for low traffic "important" feeds, etc.
