| 629650 | 2008-01-12 05:59:00 | Hi Folks. My new computer came with Office 2007 installed. Forms used are supplied by a large Govt Department. Data is entered straight into most areas of the forms but some areas require that the form is unlocked. In Office XP this was achieved with the Padlock button on the"Forms" Toolbar. I am unable to find the the equivilent function in Office 2007, so parts of the form remain unaccessable. The nearest I can find is the protect document tab and that doesnt do anything to help. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Colin |

Well I think this is it This is to set it up Click the Microsoft Office Button , and then click Word Options. Click Popular. Select the Show Developer tab in the Ribbon check box, and then click OK. Theres pics in the help file as well. Might be better going to help and doing the above. |

Cant unlock it so will have to go back to the original genius who created it. Was not happy with it from start as unlocking (in Word XP)caused problems with existing check boxes. Thanmks once agian for the fast answer. Cheers Colin |
