629582 2008-01-12 01:35:00 Hi Jace*. Have a look here... en.wikipedia.org Scouse (83)
629583 2008-01-12 01:59:00 All you need is Adobe Flash player. Get it from here:

629584 2008-01-12 02:14:00 You have a couple of options -

Open with the browser of your choice - Your installed browsers should have the necessary plugins installed so are ready to play SWF files. Firefox and Opera are as easy as drag and drop (as is IE6 probably), but in IE7 you'll need to Ctrl+O to get an "Open" prompt, browse to the file (select "All files" from the filetype dropdown), open it and grant the Flash Player ActiveX control local access. Waay too complicated.

Download the standalone Flash Player - I had a quick Google and couldn't find the standalone Flash Player (it comes with Flash CS3 and previous versions) for download online. I've uploaded it temporarily here for download (nz.neopages.org) (1.23 MB). It's clean and I'm not shady, but I'm not certain of the distribution terms of this EXE.

629585 2008-01-12 06:03:00 Sal, I get the following error:

Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive.

If you downloaded this file, try dowloading the file again.

629586 2008-01-12 06:11:00 Scouse - this only provides a description, not a program to open them with. JaceKiwi (2561)
629587 2008-01-12 06:14:00 Beeswax34,

I probably already have this (shows in IE/Mozilla as part of a web page), however I did do the installation - still can't run local swf file.

Sorry bout that Jace, the file was slightly smaller on the server so probably didn't upload correctly. It should be right on the server now, try again (nz.neopages.org).
