| 630355 | 2008-01-15 04:12:00 | Sometimes I get a longer version of a song and I want to put it in iTunes to replace the shorter one already there. So I put the new MP3 file into the iTunes Music folder in Windows Explorer which replaces it. However, when I play the song on iTunes, it cuts off at the end of original song's length. For example, if I have a song that is 3:25 and I replace it with a 3:42 version, when I play the song in iTunes, it stops playing at 3:25 and moves onto the next song. What can I do to fix this, without having to reimport the song into iTunes (as this removes play counts/ratings/etc.)? |
