| 631306 | 2008-01-17 23:10:00 | Hey guys, Has anyone ever seen an app that will take a bunch of network shares, put them together on a machine in a folder, and then make a RAID/JBOD type share so anyone that anything put in that share/folder will be stored across shares on multiple computers? Obviously all those computers would have to be on all the time. For instance we have 80GB drives only about 30% utilized in about 10 PC's in our office and I was wondering how I could get that 500gb to show up in one place? Just a thought. A google of network raid brings up a bunch of crap so... yeah. Cheers, hamstar |
