630707 2008-01-16 07:53:00 Win98SE. Start menu has suddenly shrunk to top left corner - task bar has taken place of start menu - shrunk to bottom left. Have tried to replace registry back-up without success. Help ! Dundee (10967)

Lock Taskbar was only implemented in Windows XP :)

630711 2008-01-16 23:23:00 In Windows 95/98/Me/2k you can drag the taskbar (inc Start menu) to any corner of the screen, instead of the default bottom placement.

To move it around, click on an empty portion of the taskbar (eg grey space) and drag it to the new location on your screen.
