| 631192 | 2008-01-17 21:12:00 | Hmmmm, actually, doesnt looks like that board supports it, you might have to check the manufacturer web site, 3 slots DDR266 max 3GB. So I would just put a DDR400 stick in there, it will step down to PC2100 speed for you. VIA apollo chipset was pretty good, you should be able to lock the AGP & PCI buses so they dont increase in speed when you raise the FSB bus. Take you time overclocking, however I would imagine the 1GB stick of RAM will give you the most benefit. Edit - Hmmm, not sure if speedy or I am right with regards to the RAM stepping down, most chipset do, BUT there are some that dont. |
