My Nvidia drivers (and Windows) think my monitor can display refresh rates up to 200Hz but my monitor can only go up to 85Hz on some resolutions and 60Hz on some. You may wonder why this is annoying. It is annoying because some games try reverting to resolutions like 1280x1024@75Hz because it thinks my hardware is capable of this, but at the resolution it can only go up to 60Hz. The monitor comes up with an error rendering it unplayable. Any fix for this? Thanks. |

| 631308 | 2008-01-18 01:59:00 | You should be able to change the refresh rate in your game options. If you cant it is probably using your default refresh rate. This will be the one you have set in your graphics card settings. Change it to 60hertz and hopefully you'll be fine. |

But I just finished explaining that most games revert to like 70Hz+ unless they are OpenGL rendering them unplayable. The 6150SE is alot more powerful than a 5200, Not that it is powerful at all. I currently have a 8600GTS. |

My video drivers think my LCD can do 75 hertz and yet no games or programs try and use it. They use 60 hertz which i have set my drivers too With all programs closed what resolution do you run at? and at how many hertz? |
