| 631262 | 2008-01-17 17:29:00 | Have a connection to broadband on my computer for the last year or so. We are having problems connecting up to the internet, in the last couple of days -intermittent, sometimes working sometime not. So uninstalled the modem software and attempted to reinstall. The software does a diagnostic and came up with a problem which stated: "Verify network interface card is properly installed" Would you think that the card has failed or can I try and reinstall the drivers? My other computer on the network is fine, so the modem is ok. I am running windows XP SP2. Any help appreciated:help: | arko (9074) | ||

| 631265 | 2008-01-17 19:20:00 | I think you mean a 4 port ROUTER - Modems usually only have 1 outlet, or they have the option of 1 USB and 1 Ethernet - if they have 4 ports its a modem/router - Do you have the option to connect router Via Ethernet instead of USB to your PC ? What is the Model number of the router ? |
